Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 3 - Iron Blow Lookout

Just east of Queenstown there is a lookout over older sections of the Mt Lyell Mine. There are 22 known ore bodies in the Mt Lyell mineral field. There are amazing views over what was once the Iron Blow open cut mine. It has since filled with rain water and takes on the distinctive green copper colour.
